HADAF mobile branch takes part in Al-Baha Summer Festival

RIYADH: The mobile branch of Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) will receive businessmen, entrepreneurs and applicants wishing to take advantage of the rehabilitation, training and employment programs in the telecommunications sector that is set to take place during "Al-Baha Summer Festival" that starts Tuesday and lasts for seven days.
The mobile branch will present a range of job opportunities in the sector, training programs in sales management, the basics of mobile phone maintenance, customer service skills and advanced phone maintenance provided by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), along with “Droob’s free e-courses for this activity.
The mobile branch will participate the summer festival to help business people reach out to those interested in joining the sector, in support of the efforts by Ministry of Labor and Social Development and partners from pertinent ministries to effect the Saudization of the telecommunication sector and encourage self-employment through training programs that will help people start their own businesses, in cooperation with the National Entrepreneurship Institute (Riyadah).
Applicants are encouraged to register on the institute’s website, where project funding requests are received, and eligible applicants undergo job interviews.
A maximum of SR200,000 is granted to finance a project, and a monthly stipend of SR3,000 is given for a period of two years to those whom HADAF’s controls apply to.
The mobile branch also offers some services to job seekers, including helping them register on the Riyadah’s website if the wish to benefit from the support programs, informing job seekers about job vacancies and issuing guiding pamphlets to job seekers.
The mobile branch helps employers meet employees’ requests and helps identify services and products provided by the fund, and register in the fund’s programs.
A modern bus was fitted with desks to service customers and waiting seats; it also has a meetings hall where career counseling is provided and an area for support services.
The mobile branch has been equipped with the latest wireless technology to provide smooth and seamless services to customers.
